v2   40 days of prayer

First and foremost the V2 campaign is a spiritual journey.  It is our hope that everyone who calls Conway First their home will join as we seek God together, encounter Him in new and fresh ways and experience and outpouring of His Spirit in our lives, and in our church like never before.  In order for this to happen we are devoting to 40 days of prayer to prepare our hearts for what He desires to do in us, among us, and through us. This 40 day prayer journey will begin on February 26 and concluded on March 6.

  • FEBRUARY 26

    PRAY THAT WE SEEK GOD FIRST

    Matthew 6:33

    But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  • FEBRUARY 27

    PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

    Ephesians 3:14-19

    For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

    Pray for boldness and confidence

    Pray we put our faith into action

     In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

    Pray that we honor Christ as the head of the Church

    Colossians 1:18-20

    And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,  and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

    Thank God for His provision

    Pray for unity in our church

    Romans 15:5-6

    May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,  so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Pray we would love our neighbors well

    Mark 12:29-31

    “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
